Athletes, thank you for your continued dedication during the off season this summer, working on conditioning and training. We have had a great turnout all summer long! Don’t forget fall practices start on August 15^th, so make sure you have your physical ready to go as competition starts right away for all sports! Here are a couple important notes as we start the school year:

• Free Physicals – ALL AGES – at the Welcome Back Celebration on August 6^th – More details to come around time and location!
• High School Only FREE Physicals provided by Children’s Mercy on August 15th from 12:30pm – 3:30pm at Harmon, Washington, Sumner and Schlagle. More information as well as sign up information will be sent out separately as details are confirmed.
• We will be recognizing our Spring Sport Athletes who competed at State or have State Recognition at the August 9th Board Meeting

The start of the school year is quickly approaching. Make sure you work on those summer assignments to be sure they are complete before you return. Schedules will be available in Infinite Campus as we get closer to the start of school. Remember the first day for all new students to Sumner Academy is Monday, August 15^th then all students return on Tuesday, August 16^th. Look for more information coming in regards to back to school nights! If you have any question don’t hesitate to reach out to your grade level administrator!
